progressive controller and low fuel pressure safety switch
anyone ever have problems with them getting along? I think i may have the pressure switch set at too high of a psi. AFR is all over the place when it starts spraying, and i think its because the nitrous solenoid is getting shut off every other pulse. it smooths out a lot after the initial hit

If you are running a wet setup you can expect the fuel pressure to drop when the fuel solonoid opens until the pump can catch up. Setting the pressure lower will probably help.
Vincent Hill had a very complex fuel system in a effort to minimize that fuel pressure drop.

i did a test and it appears that the fuel pressure switch was setup fine. i connected a test light to the switch, activated the 2 dial, the solenoid chattered away, and the light never dimmed or flickered. i had to crank it way in to get it to go out, so i turned it back to where it was.
VH was trying to avoid a lean spike at the hit IIRC. Im just running a much longer line from the nitrous solenoid to distribution block. seems to work ok.
cant wait to test my new jetting hopefully Ill have some log files up tonight

I had not trouble when my NOS system was hooked up. I believe I set the pressure switch at least 1 psi lower than operating pressure. Maybe is was 1.5 psi lower? I test ran everything off the bike before I installed.

My system worked fine but does not allow for Fools! After making 2 passes without Arming the system, I was a success! I went for Broke and Broke it> I upped the nos pressure but forgot to match the Fuel pressure and ate an engine Big time!
The trick is ti use a Bypass Fuel regulator so that the fuel is always in motion and can react a lot quicker than a Dead Head regulator. Sort of like 2 racers where one is doing 50 when the flag drops and the other has to accel to 50 After the flag drops. They both end up doing the same speed, but one is doing it from the start. (This is what a Bypass Fuel Regulator does)
