digi-kill2/digi-kill3

I just put a digi-kill3 on the bike from a digi-kill2 and am having problems.When switching over,it is not a wire for wire swap and I need to tie into new terminals, correct?It just dawned on me that one cuts the ignition and the other the fuel,is that correct?Thank you in advance.

digi3 cuts fuel just like digi2, and IIRC it is wire for wire.

I thought there was a concern when the digi3 first came out as to whether one could use it with nitrous because it cut the fuel.Thereby going lean for a spike.My paper work said they switched to have a quickershift from ignition.Reading my directions which I should have started off with,says to tie in by the injector on the main harness.

dont worry about a lean spike when cutting fuel to kill when using nitrous. for 65 ms, even if it is lean, it wont hurt anything, and think about it. you cut the fuel, theres nothing burning, theres just cooled gas (nitrous oxide and regular air not the gas as in fuel) being pumped into then out of the motor. guys are using quick shifters and spraying nitrous all the time with no problems. ask Ace performance. Phantom has explained it all out on a couple forums
