Very possibly. What is the traction like there? Do they prep the track well? It's more of an issue with a longer bike, like mine. It is only 2.5 hours away from me, not bad!

I will need to get my NHRA license there to run, or??

Well, I was thinking of heading out there...as soon as this Saturday. I would be looking to run 8's. Can you get a license at the track, or is there some convoluted process?

It's a long way to go to have to run 10's!!

best thing is call them. get a physical first or proof of one in the last two years. nhra . com has all the forms to print out.

that is if you want to get a licence.usually only the guys that et race in the 9s or faster bother unless the track enforces the rules like maplegrove use to. i will come out and say you should be fine. but ofcourse you never know. it is a 2 hr drive for me and only 75ish miles. dam city is in the way.
