todd i checked your ratio you ran friday night and if i go 17/50 it will be a little bit more than what you had. i may try it and see if the 330ft drops eaiser. i hope i get a longer distance in 5th than you had though.

try 16-50 the 12 likes gearing. I ran 16-49 on a stock motor with a small shot.
16-49 got me 9.20's and 8.80's on spray.

The track at TVRP is 1100 ft before any factoring comes in, and Tulsa is 900 ft. My home track is like 250 ft..........
DA this year for most events has hummed around 3500 ft at both OK tracks...., first race I believe it was around 2000 ft........, maybe 1500.........

so far out guage at maplegrove which is around 540ft has been 1400 to 1600. this of course being the first of the dreeded climit change summer has been quite cool.i bet yesterday was over 2000 but friday nights have been good air for the summer.
i may try 17/50 first and see what i get. 18/50 not if i would not have the extra 300rpms in the ecu i am looking at the limiter almost though the shinko did slow me down mph wise by about 2mph.

Doubt the shinko did that, I have run 123 in the 1/8 on a shinko......, 2 mph is a TON

two of us that went from street tires that worked most of the time to u soft shinko tires lost hp on the dyno and mph at the track.they are a bit heaver than a qualifyer or other street brand and it makes sence. though it is something one has to do to get a dependable hook and if one does not want the 250 dollar drag tire that is lighter than this is what it is. i am not bitching i accept it. but i am not the only one that had thier bike work some of the time as it is and put on a heavier tire and notice some mph loss. ohwell it is what it is. i hook now all the time and went from 147 to 148 with the qualifyer to 144 to 146 with the shinko same air.

Wow, thats a lot. I never ran a shinko on the quarter......, it must affect it more on the top end........, even at 1000 ft, I still ran near same mph, nothing like a 2mph loss........, lots of factors, but I know it weighs as much as a 7 inch slick........
