What mods will move the needle
I hope you guys can help me a bit here. I strap the front down and want to know if I lower the forks 1" and strap it, will it improve my 60'?
Also, the Muzzy EMS looks like the "bee's knees" because it includes full throttle shift ignition cut and shift light output. This system looks like a drag racers dream, am I right? Or is there something more cost effective, like a PCIIIR and air shifter kit?
Any other mods you guys have found very useful on the track?

I do know that Tire pressure and suspension settings are VERY Important... And you want that bike as low as possible..
I'll let the experts jump in and answer your questions.

Muzzy ECU
The Muzzy ECU is the same as the DTA unit I use. Everything is programmable, and it has a basic datalog too. I've been using the DTA for 4 years. It's good kit for the money.

Mods
ZX12Girl, yeah I've been following the tire pressure thread for a while. I seem to improve times if I lower the pressure from 41ps1 to 32psi, even on a fully prep track. Maybe because these bikes will produce some wheel spin on 1-2 and 2-3 gear change.
Lorcan, How much was the DTA unit and do they have a website?
Thanks

Mine was 650GBP + tax but that was in 1997 (96 maybe?), the later models have more features and windows software. In addition I bought a dyno control box and replaced all the sensors on my 750 turbo. Not sure which sensors, if any, would have to be replaced on the ZX12.

That price is a bit out of my league, I'll have to get the poor man's version, aka PC3R!!
