OK- WELL I'm trying to make my travel arrangements and definitely need some input on what I should do! I am extremely broke a$$ right now, but will try to fly down for the festivities! I definitely want to come down but there's no chance I'll be able to trailer down with the bike, race, and drive trailer back- it's just too far and I can't afford it with all the road trips I've been taking lately!
I'm searching airline tickets online, what would be the best day for me to arrive? I found a rate of just under $300 round-trip arriving Thursday morning around 10am into JAX, and flying back to IAD (dulles airport) which is 3 miles from my house.
Questions
Who is going to TNT on Thursday and what time?
Should I fly into JAX? Can someone pick me up Thursday morning, afternoon or evening?
Who is going to Disney w/MadMike on Monday?
Which brings up when should I depart? I can return home from JAX anytime Monday 6am ~ Monday 730PM, or just stay over until Tuesday anytime for about the same price. Just wondering what I should do..
100% chance I _have to_ make the Rockingham trip for 60" PSB the following weekend so $$ is tight and I will be freeloading anywhere possible . TurboBlew and YCIS have graciously offered to put me up and chauffeur me around while I'm there but I can catch a cab to/from the airport if needed because I don't want to put anyone out, especially if they have to work Monday.
Berg-- (possible spectator for Gainsville... hopefully!!)

I wouldnt be able to pick you up till thursday evening...perhaps steve can if you get that ticket.
I should have a trailer for thursday which means ill be goin to the TNT that night and perhaps stayin down there for the weekend (then again its not that far of a drive to just come home and sleep to come back friday morning etc).
Your welcome to stay at the house till tuesday....You would just have to entertain yourself with the Xbox and TV (or the bike if you felt like goin for a ride somewhere) since I have to work mon and tuesday.

The weather is cooling off down here. Tomorrow's predicted HIGH is 69!! Should be perfect conditions for next week I hope. Looking forward to meeting you folks, putting faces to names and such.
Sorry to threadjack, but I missed this past Wed's TNT, so I went to tonite's street legal event -immediately toasted my clutch, and ended up just letting it fly off the line until it locked up. It kinda sucks that it was so cool with no wind and I couldn't take real advantage, but I was pretty pleased with the flukish consistency, and the MPH - 163! This is with the 80hp 26N/24G jets. Flyin!! First time I've run all 8s too - although the last one was cutting it close :O

Dean how has NOS solenorid been holding up to the progreive controller. I was woundering if the pulesing of voltive from the controller hurts the solenorid? And how many bottles did you go threw doing the 5 fast passes.

The solenoids are still functioning normally - but I only have 40 or so passes on them. I have heard that stuttering beats the crap out of solenoids though. I go thru about 12 oz per pass, and swap the 2lb bottle every time.
I put together a good pass tonite - steady powerwheelie with no lift Still not quick enough to beat Todd Schnitz on Chris Jones' turbo Busa. He was on a street tire and blowing out the tire thru 3rd gear. He blew past me SO fast... This was their best pass of the nite I think - mine too I ran 8.90s most of the night, and managed to win dial-for-dollars and the street ET class dialing 8.95- not a bad night at all. Duane Schmidt clinched the street ET #1 spot for the year.

damn....12oz in a single pass? thats quite a bit
I have the ability to get 55/75lb nitrous fill bottles and plan on finding a way to mount them in the trailer....mobile fill station
I go through this crap too much to keep taking it somewhere to get filled.

Very nice 60ft and a 8.82 is great, I wish our track had a 330. So do the track sell NOS or do you have 6 bottles?

Thanks. I have two 2lb bottles and a 20lb mother bottle. I chill the small bottle for a few minutes and fill it by weight - usually a couple ozs over. I try to run right at 900psi.
YCIS - running four 26 nitrous jets gives me .002124 square inches of flow - while a single 40 (big dry shot) would flow .001257 worth, or about 60%. A fill station with pump would be very cool - no need to chill & warm, etc, but kinda pricey. Have you thought about getting a mother bottle?

I have tried to use a 10 lbs and presure full but it did not work out very well. Maybe a 20 lbs would be better becasue it holds more presure?

You have to get the receiving bottle good and cold or it won't fill. You need a scale too. I can get about 15-16lbs out of the 20lb bottle, warming it up for the last 5lbs or so.

No pump...I have been filling mine from a 75lb bottle for quite some time...as long as the 2lb one is very cold ive gotten 2.5 lbs in it at times.
