What is the Gainsville schedule / plan?
What time should I shoot for arriving and when will everyone be hooking up? I'm thinking about coming down Friday just wondering if I should shoot for going to Jacksonville first or just meeting at the track or what? Anyone have their plans made yet?

What classes are you running in? Street ET bracket? What other options are there if I bring my bike?

The common thing is to run both Street & Pro ET. You could run Super Gas, but you'll pretty much get your ass handed to you on the tree. Same thing goes for ProET really, but at least you get more time runs and an extra round. Poopstar is a total ripoff - ask Mike

I think I am going to run super gas and street ET, I dont like hot lapping for Pro et and Street et. I think Prostar is cool but it is not for everyone (racewise) it is really geared for the big time racer but it is definatly fun to race at the big track and agenst the big guns, ryan, rickey, chip, and all of the rest, and if you win you get a really cool trophy, and your picture will be in the Street and Strip magazine. but dont think you going to win the bank in street et. shoot a win wouldent even pay for my gas 1 way... but I will be there...
oh and you can win in Super Gas. you just have to play the big end.. I made it 3 rounds last year and lost to Kawasaki rider Bruce Sauer by .040 at the big end on a double breakout. lost my head and forgot to brake...

Me too I'm there to have fun and run with the big guns it costs me out of my pocket about $1500 bucks to come from Canada et bracket payout would be nice if they up the auntie for the long distance travellers. Ummm maybe not then everyone would jump into it oh well can't win that battle I guess.
Rope off an area for inside the track or for camping that would be cool depends on their mood when you call, it would be nice if we all could get a place in the pits as a group. I vote Mike for president hehe.

BTW, Chad made it to the semi's in Montgomery....got put out by Ryan Schnitz. 9.83 to Ryans 9.73. Chad actually treed him (I believe Ryan was playing it safe) and Chad was at his rear tire at the lights....great race. The round before Chad ran a 9.81, a personal best. A good week-end for us and Ryan sewed up the #1 plate when he beat Chad.
Ryan is a true Champion in every sense of the word.

i put the call into Scooter at Prostar, so hopefully I will get a call next week. or maybe I will see him in texas this weekend? if so I will talk with him about it!

New to this side, But Peggy and I will also be there! Pierre and his crew and US are all at the Days Inn near the interstate! He has a Larg group with him! 4 rooms full of people! I also understand that Kawasaki SA has 10 rooms full of people!
Anyone know if this is "Televised"?? He will be there from the 4 to the 11th! We will be there from the 7th to the 11th! Getting around for an Old Man!! (Dan you are included in the Youth Group! YCIS, I am still tickled about the Music statement! I guess my problem is, the only "Loud" Music I like, the instruments have gears,and pistons! I even prefer the sound when there are no cams and valves to mess it up and waste strokes!

Wayne, my map will only help for "Street" riding and road racing! Holding the throttle WFO. Needs no (stinking)fuel management!!

Thanks for the compliments, I hate to make it sound like I'm bragging but it's been a great year. Chad has learned a lot from the best bunch of guys involved in dragracing. After Chad's 9.81 pass, Rickey G came up and said "Man I'm glad I'm not running the 600 class anymore" That really made Chad's day!

For "Roadracing" you will LOVE It! Trust me on this one! No matter where you are (RPM WISE or Throttle Position) the bike will always run clean! Only a Joke about the Drag Race Comment! I never liked the "Taste" of Beer (Ruined by my Uncle who lived in Milwaukee when I asked him how it tasted when I was about 14, he said Kool-Aid without the Sugar) I have never gotten past that, Plus I just do not drink! (Pop / Soda!! That is Different)!! See You Later
