i suck
so i got a new tire. even lifted the front so it is hooking with the extencions. i can even match your 330 number with a .1 slower 60ft. that is the problem. 1.70 with a 4.20. 330 vs a 1.60 with a 4.240. i think my issue was being chicken to let the clutch out fast enough carrying all those rpms.it acted like the clutch was slipping and not giveing me the drive out but the 60ft math held true and the mph was close and on the way home with 23psi in rear in third at 45mph i went to a lot of revs and dumped the clutch and it felt like it got rearended and spun the tire instantly so i think it was holding.
next friday i am comming out at 7000 again instead of 8000 to 9000.

yeah try the lower rpm and work on getting WOT as fast as you can. more power at the rpm, and less slip required. drop the front. my bike will wheelie at 68 in
i have my 2 step set at 5500 now, i used to launch at 7000. i may bump it up, but i need to try a few things now that the hub isnt so gouged up....

I agree, but don't focus too much on the the 60 foot, the 330 is where you will really lower your ET.

i suck again. got a 1.67 but it enguaged out and did not 330. i am taking half of the stiff springs out to get the clutch a easier pull. my friend mike said he said if his gsxr1000 was that stiff he would not be able to modulate it either(can get 1.50s i think he is the man) .so a excuse to inspect the clutch and try something new.i also need a shinko. i have to do a mad tire fry to get it to stick.

190 U-Soft, $135 Shipped:

More than enough tire for your setup! Keep in mind, not for LSR. A sicky LSR compatible tire is a Michelin Power Race or Power One. I have used the Power Race Soft.

i was looking at the other options and money wise i will end up getting the heavy shinko.
