friday night results
holy kaw, what a change! im loving the 2 step. i cut a tiny bit off of the factory switch so i could do my regular 2 finger launch. i made a pass, made a clutch change, repeat. got better each time, im getting the hang of it now! i changed launch rpm to 5500(constant all night) and it was still way agressive. kept adding static, and i did take some weight off as it was picking the front end up out by the tree. it still flashed the tach a little on my last run of the night so i added a bit more shim for morning. im hoping to hit 1.4x 60ft had the front strapped but forgot the ballast, i dont think ill bother with it this wknd tho
last pass of the night, beat my old NA et from last yr! last yrs 9.28 pass was done with great weather, tonight was hot and muggy, and someones weather station was showing 2500 feet

yeah, something was off. my hub is getting grooved, and i burned up a bunch of plates today. i kept adding shims and it just got worse and worse. changed out some warped steels with a few i got from a buddy, no better, hub needs to come out and be cleaned up. im thinking about trying a drag pack...

Its the hub......, draggin plates, so adding clutch pressure made no difference......., because they were hanging up........
put a new hub in it....., drag pack wont fix an issue like that..........

yeah, i wasnt implying a drag pack would fix it, but i was thinking i might start off with a fresh pack. i may just order new steels... fibers look fine....
i filed/sanded my hub and its looking pretty good, so i dont think a new one is required. i still need to clean up some rough spots around the posts where the pressure plate goes though

thx Mike. 17 49(with billet low first trans gear), going thru in 5th, so i have one more for nitrous
my old lap top was being cranky this wknd so i had to reinstall the OS and lost my input description for logworks2  , but at least i can read AFR. i was running mostly 12.5 to 12.7:1 during the actual runs. a few places i see that i short shifted (lower rpm than normal) it was closer to 13:1, so ill have to make a few small changes to the map, probly just a couple % richer around 9000 rpm at WOT

Scott,
I must say, and I think all will back me up on this, I am very disappointed in you, and the work you did on that hub. ( Yes, it looks like it was the cause, and will screw things up, pretty good passes for a hub like that in the bike actually) But, I digress. What is going on here......, where is the cardboard prototype copy, etc. Has the paper mache cnc machine been broken or something? LOL
Call me if you need anything, nice clean up on the hub, hope it works, I never thought of that, I would have just bought a new one........

lol, ill get some pics this week you will like Nox. Im making the fuel cell/ bottle bracket combo in the swingarm.
it took awhile, but the hub cleaned up pretty well. i did the same for a guys quad bike after he had the steels in backwards and chewed it up. it worked for him
