Retorqued the head and brought it to the dyno today.

Pulls strong and appears to be no problem with the head gasket.It does want to buck at 5-10% throttle.I'm only getting about 4 starts with the secondary battery.All in all,I'm feeling better now.

Pete, looks like you are making progress.
I guess i would tend to take AF a bit lower, and it it interesting that yr tq peak is 7700-7800, a bit lower rpm than what i have seen on my heap. what cam CL's are you running?
Did you ever do a leakdown???

A bit lower then 13/1 afr?Meaning richer or leaner?Cams were set at 105/105 and are stock.I never did a leak down test as I haven't been able to make it to my brothers garage.I don't have the quag for my own set and am limited to what I can test.You guys with a full tool set don't realize how lucky you are.
Looking at my torque curve,where would the recommended launch rpm be?And when it shifts, how low would be the maximum drop before looking to change the sprockets?

richer, like 12.5, 12.7:1ish
no 2 step, peak torque or lower if its uncontrolable. i had been launching "normally" at 7000 ish and tonight with a 2 step, 5500 is way more agressive
