About that chicken...
Are we gonna sacrifice it to the speed gods, are you Haitian? Do you practice Santeria?
In late 70's, i worked with a guy (Dalton) out in the jungle of N Guatemala who had a "hobby" involving chickens, but i'm guessing you have different plans

karl, didnt some sweet lady bring you and Doug some chicken for dinner when ya'll ran back to houston and frankensteined that record breaking engine? I am thinking why change what worked. The chicken might be the key factor to all that speed or not, But dont be thinking I will offer up any of my austrian chocolate.......ok maybe one piece for each.

Cool, there is a bad ass jr dragster at the paintshop that my stuff is at and it is bad ass. It is also what is causing the hold up on my paint job..................grrrrrrrrrr

I love to hear the hit of that motor.......
Her next will be a 3.75 x 3 but this one is a 3.5 x 3.
I am not sure on the match, but I think that figures out somewhere around 725 or so cc.......

My 13 year old daughter.........
She is mad that I won't take the lead shot out of the weight tank, and gear it down more.......
7.4s and 7.5s at 87 to 90 mph is too "slow" for her....... The car has run 6s in the1/8 at 95 mph with this motor and no wieght with the right gear, and like 1.45 short times.......
As soon as I bought it, I started slowing it down, I knew if I let her taste it, it would be over, so I still have that carrot to hold in front of her for later.........
