Took the 12 down but couldn't pass tech (My tire was cut/chunking up...been getting worst evey meet....) the techs including Todd and Dean shook their head. Dean had a replacement tire there which he graciously offered to me....but trying to find someone qualified to mount a tire on a carbon fiber wheel proved difficult...I wasn't going to risk it with just anyone. End up not running the 12 and rode the FZR 400 but still have the tire....
Dean...much appreciated man....and good passes....thought the 10 made some crazy sound at the 1/4 mile marker...transmission?
Only other suitable replacement was Dale's ZX12 that Sal was running...given the rainout and less than needed track time to tune trying to pry Sal off the 12 to have me run Dale's 12 wheel was....well...given they went 210 mph naturally aspirated...and Sal's determination to keep going faster....I could already here Sal's words in my head:
"Shiphteey....it AIN'T Happening!"
as well as
"Shiphteey....yer crazy running that tire man..."

No trouble Ali, I know it sucks to have to change something in tech, and I had the tire on hand. Bring it next month if you don't need it and I'll have it for Loring.
I had shifting problems on both runs and didn't get a clean pass. Not sure if it's ignition or trans related. When it rained for the second time on Sat, I left.
Congrats on your new records, glad you had another bike to run.

Hey Dean, not 100% sure I can make June ($$$) but if I don't I can hand it to either Shane or Todd since they are semi-local for you. Thanks again, I appreciate the gesture.
