data logger questions
hey guys, I traded a guy my LMA-2 for an LMA-3 as it has more options(interested in EGT for nitrous) but I have a couple questions. on my LMA-2 I just had one wire for RPM (from one injector) and one wire for TPS. the logger read these as a 0-5v signal. with my LMA-3 there is a pos and neg for each channel. do i need to connect the neg to the neg from the sensor? or will it be fine wired as i had the LMA-2 wired?(just the pos)

i think most (all?) the sensors use a common ground from the ECU. I tap the ECU sensor gnd and ground each input to be logged to that wire. My oil pressure is different as the transducer is not hooked to the ECU
BTW: i believe rpm is a digital signal (like mph sensor output) not analog 1-5V

so i need to run 2 wires for each channel/input now instead of one? (the neg from each channel can just go to a common ground on the ecu? black-yellow IIRC)
i was getting rpm from tapping into one of the injector wires(blue-red i think) should i go with the tach signal wire now? (light blue)

my DL32 requires 2 wires for each sensor; gnd & signal like you say.
I take the injector pulse like you have with a gnd from ECU
