OT your opinions plz (guy selling parts)
Ok ill keep this short as i was just about to go to bed(but this pissed me off). I have done buisness with a guy on here once and it did not go well. I eventually got most of what i paid for(some parts damaged broken ect) after several emails(some of which were very rude on their part), and decided to keep quiet about it. a few of you regulars know who Im talking about (no not kawabunga, someone else)
he emails me a few days ago offering to sell me some parts(swing arm, ect). i reply:
Im not interested in ever doing buisness with you again.
thank you for the offer though.
his reply(just now):
Well fuck you very much.
my reply ... and thats one of the reasons why
do you guys want to know more? maybe to try to avoid a bad buisness deal?. i saved all the emails....
i think we need a rep system or feedback on here so things like this can be avoided

Well, I would be interested, since I am looking at buying an arm from someone who comes here and on psychobike........
Would be nice to know, because if he has a bad rep, I would not want to send money there and not get any dang parts......

ya man. thats bullshit. on the one board i'm on (kawiforums) we have a rep system.. it's not always accurate as you can get reps for posting some titty pics up, but in general, those who screw others over or contribute shit info or whatever have a nice red rep stick.. as well, their name goes in the feedback section with vendors and other members who are good or will burn in hell.
i don't think theres a review section here, huh?
me.. well, i probably would have hunted him down and introduced him to a .223 and the pond behind the house, but thats just me. i hate dealing with internet sales like that. especially on the forums.. even ebay is getting scary with douchebags trying to stiff people.

he was great to deal with at first, then i got the cylinder head.... i was told i was getting a complete head minus cams and one shim was missing, but if you replace the missing shim, its ready to go.
this is what I got:
you call this adequet packaging for a cylinder head? i think not...
you could say it had a rough trip(did he think he was shipping a block of fire wood? wtf?). and no shims! there were supposed to be 15/16(you guys know i put a bunch of CRF shims in it) and the kicker. no cam cap!! after several emails back and forth, he finally shipped it. it was actually packaged in a lot of bubble wrap and was fine. but the emails were similar to the reply up above. very nasty, and he was very hard to get along with. I had to tell him repeatedly that a complete head includes the cam cam due to the maching process. the same as cases, you cant mix n match.
i can copy and paste the emails if theres any intrest, but i think you guys get the message without going that far
Nox, if you decide to get that arm, im hoping he packages it nicely for you. a bit of balled up newspaper doesnt really cut it

Sounds like the guy that mailed me 4 'new' exhaust valves for my old Honda in a regular envelope and had the balls to charge me over $18 to 'mail' it.

i spent a few hours on it fixing it. its still not pretty, but i made it work. had to file/dremmel a bunch of burrs(the buckets were left in the head, upside down so half of them fell out, and really gouged up that area, not to mention the big stuff on the corners), the bent /cracked piece broke off in 2 pieces by the cam sensor, i wanted it tigged, but budget stated jb weld it the pieces back on, then sculpt it with the dremmel. had to lap the head surface, and im still not sure if i trust that scratch...
I tried to find out info on the magnets as far as i know, as long as its labeled correctly, theres no issue. its one of the less severe hazardous materials. in my search i also found out that i labeled the 2 tall boys I sent to Karl slightly incorrect(and on the edge of being illegal.. opps)
btw, no huge rush, Jim still has my head

Scott, It is amazing that a box with some decent packaging and all this could all been avoided..It's hard to say but it may have had issues before it left.....I'm sorry but paper wasn't going to cut it being shipped for Hawaii.. but Daamn did they drop that box at the Canadian border and roll it to your house. Luckily you got the cam cap...

Well, I will put my .02 in. I have only done one business thing with Jack. My arm. It came packed well, arrived on time, and was just as described.

Hey Scott why dont you tell everyone that I offered you a full refund plus insurance and you refused to send the head back? You left that out. I always make good on my deals. Why would you refuse to ship the head back and make money on the deal. You would have got back the $350 your shipping and the $150 the postal service would have paid! Refused to send the head back, absolutely refused. I was horrified when I saw the pictures! I could have packed it better yes but if someone was going to give you a refund plus money why would you turn that down? He said first " send the money back then I will send you the head", I said no way, when I get the head you will get all your money. He refused, said he already had the head and did not want to waste time??? Oh well its my word against his and you know how the internet goes. I may have been harsh with my words but how would you feel if someone received your parts, they were damaged and they made it seem like you sent it to them in that condition? Then they dont let you make good on it? Why did you not just send it back and taken the money Scott? why?

Well I did not want to get into grown folks businesss, but I have dealt with JACKSHOW on many occassions and I trust what he says about parts. This is a trust worthy guy as far as I am concerned I have not never any issues with JACKSHOW. However; to each its own and thats all I have to say about this matter good luck fellows I hope you all get this matter worked out.

You guys want to ban me, then ban me, just stop dragging my name through the mud. Nobody here even tried to ask if I offered to refund the money. Tell them Scott, did I not offer to refund the money? You did not say "the jackshow was a dick, sent me bad parts and refused to give me my money back." I OFFERED A FULL REFUND!!!! You wanted to take the loss!!! I know how much shims and buckets cost and I knew it was not worth it for you to salvage the head the condition it was in. I sent the head just the way I said it was, sent you pictures of the head before you commited to buy it. It got damaged cause it got packed wrong, my bad I am sorry. What do you do in this situation people? You ask for a refund and get your money back right? Well he did not want to do that. Was I harsh with my emails? YES! Did the head not get packed well enough? YES! Did I offer a full refund? YES! And so it does not get taken out of context I did send Scott an email before I saw this forum when someone told me I was getting bashed. I told him that people should treat people how they would if they seen each other face to face. I have been invited to race in Canada in the past by my race team. If he knew that he would see me would everything have happened the way it did? Anyway if you guys want to ban me thats fine. A deal went bad that I was involved in and I understand, just stop talking bad about me when you dont know all the facts. Thank you, Jack Cambra Jr.

Tell the people why I did not want to send the cam cap! I did not want to send it cause I wanted him to send the head back so I could give him a refund!
