hmmmm, I haven't seen it in mine, but then again, I haven't been to the track or dyno much lately (goddamn weather and work related travel)

WOO HOO!!!

Well I tuned my bike on the DJ250 w/sniffer today surprisingly it was not down on power after all! After running the Nutec out of it and putting half-a-tank of regular 93 pump gas in it ran great! It put down 203.6 RWHP on motor with very little tweaking I think there's a couple more in it but we ran out of time. 112 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels and it was making 190rwhp at only 9000 RPM! It's a solid flat curve and I'm very pleased. A/F ratio in the 11.8:1 range then leaning out to 13:1. up top so I need to spend more time and make some fuel changes.
I think the map I had in it before was screwy so I started with a fresh Muzzys map and boy was the bike happy! I knew something was better right away because it idles smoothly now.. no lurching at idle it sounds almost stock.

At the last minute we made a couple passes using a #34 jet dry NOS with NO TUNING CHANGES it laid down 244.2 letting out early at 10,000RPM and it was still building power. The first three tries the tire just spun on the dyno so we had to strap it tighter and have someone put weight on the back to get the D208 rubber to hook. A/F on the spray was real lean (like I said we didn't make changes to the map yet) starting at 13:1 and shooting up to 13.8:1 across the board that is one reason why we let out early. I think with a custom nitrous map and a #36 pill it should put down 255 with no problem. Heheh it kicked the dyno off when we hit 200mph in 6th (which BTW was the only way we could get it to hook on the spray).

I will have the dyno scans posted by Sunday.

Using that 44 tooth eh?So I guess twin 34's will make 80hp??That would put my bike at an even 250hp,muzzy says stock pistons shouldn't take more then 70hp of spray,so if I had twin 38's,where would that put me??(IN THE SHOP RIGHT?)Damn, here we go again, this is how I blew my last bike up.

It's hard to keep up with everyone's changes on this board!!

Bergie, are you 1361?? Seems like you were, and I was thinking that most 1270's were "only" getting 190-198 on the dyno, that's why I was wondering.

Thanks!
