A Little OT, I STILL Miss Bud DEE
Not to put a damper on anything, but I am still trying to get used to not seeing Buddy Posting here something about what he is doing or have done lately! Karl, You were even closer in Distance and I am still amazed that he was a man of few words but is still having an effect on "ME"! Buddy KNEW How to live and as such Even I live a little better because of some of the things he did.
Maybe me getting really sick and being in the Hospital a few weeks ago made me think about him! I have always told my wife that wives are good for 2 things, Helping their husbands find their keys and the reason we finally break down and go to the hospital! Peggy TOLD me that she was exercising option #2 AND came from work and took me to the hospital where they found (For the first time ever in my life )that I really was sick! I am fine now but it scared me that I could actually get sick! Old age made it happen??? and I hope that this is not in my future!
Are we going to have another event at MIR? (Specially since we can now afford the fuel to get there!

Yep, I miss him too...
It's funny, I was just thinking the other day about us all sitting out in our lawn chairs in the Antlers Inn parking lot drinking a whole lot of beer. We sat there from dinner time until bed time. People coming in and out of the hotel were probably thinking...what the hell??
Good times!!

I have a few photo's of him on my digital picture frame, so I think about him every couple of days... He was a great guy and I am so so lucky, that he rode down to Houston and back with me, it was really a great trip...

Thanks Guys, I just think the Lord put Buddy here so that the rest of us would know how to live our lives without Griping and Complaining over the small stuff! He never did it over the Life and Death stuff either! He moved my life's game up a few notches!
Karl, still working on the house and getting sick sure slowed things down! My wife likes what I am doing and it is too late to find a replacement for her so I think I need to continue spending time to make her happy!!

Do one for me too! He was the Class in the World Class Act! We have lost a few good people and without this board we would never have known them to begin with!

Yep, I miss Buddy too. I remember him sitting on his Silver ZX-12, full leathers, and a hat on.
Glad you are doing better Mr. Hill, but don't drag your feet on the check up. We would sure like to see you and the wife soon.

I guess getting "Sick" once in 65 years is "OK" But I hope it is another 65 before it happens again! So far I have lost 25 pounds and 2 pounds shy of being in the 220 range! Not my idea of how to lose weight but as I have always said, I think it is better to have a little to lose and lose it when you get sick than to have none to lose and get sick!
