i dont even want to know how cold that was with windchill.... its not usually that cold but im glad the old mans shop is heated or i wouldnt be doing any motor work!
multiple layers if you go outside in that temp. but you kinda get used to it if you are in it every day. i remember a few yrs ago when i was going to UNB, you could pick out the jamacian guys(and any other southern person) from a mile away when it was just starting to get around the freezing point. you couldnt really see them, but the big puffy coats, huge gloves, furry hood up ect gave them away. they were definately used to warm weather, when the northern guys just had a sweater on. they got used to it after awhile tho
now if we could just have a heated drag strip, and run in the winter air!.... the snowmobiles work really well in these temps!

Yep,
It was a bit chilly this morning for sure. My dog didn't even want to go out to piss. Warmed all they way up to -5F this afternoon.
Supposed to back to positive numbers tomorrow afternoon. Maybe even into double digits.
My motor is scattered all over my basement. Just waiting for my cases to come back. Then it goes back together. I have everything else I need. (I think)

yay for gay ass cold weather.
not as cold as you crazy bastidges with your - 20* and -40* weather, but i just spent a glorious 15 or so minutes breaking ice out of the water softener purge line outside, after it sounded like rain in the basement!!
walk in and see a fine spray for a 5' radius and everything coated in ice, and the sump pump on its side in a block of it's own solidified spew, and water pouring out of the coupling it used to be attached to.
spectacular.
after only one solid minute WITH (my awesome yoshimura riding) gloves on, my fingers went uncomfortably numb. i'm just now getting my toes to move again after 30 minutes
why am i not in North Carolina again? please.. remind me.
