drag seat question
my CF Catalyst seat leaves a big gap under the rear seat. kind of like a "window" looking into the tail. have any of you made something to make it solid? (no window)

I'm not sure what you are talking about, Scott? When I used it, I had a tiger tail on the bike. There was no gap under the tail, where are you talking about?

between the cf seat and the passenger seat . right where the 2 rear bolts are on the cf seat

Ok, ok. I kind of thought of that as a plus, at least with the undertail I had. More space to mount things...

I have a custom undertail I made for my 6 inch tail. I have tons of room left in there, and i have all the stock stuff plus a 2 pound nitrous bottle, nos fuel pump, small gas tank (1 litre maybe?), bonny box, EFIR, rpm window switch, SCB PPI (kill box), the LMA2 (LM1 on ram air cover) and of course a power commander
this is what Im talking about if its unclear to anyone:
tail section and undertail are one solid unit:
the pump has been lowered since this was taken(has to be lower than the tank) but theres nothing even in the 6 inchs of extra space in the rear
yes im cleaning up and organising all the wiring this winter

I used a peice of black foam pipe insulation the same width as the seat.....Looks like it belongs there....Just tuck it up in the hole....

Looks like it's to vent gases after good Tex-Mex!!!!!!!! My Fiber glass one does not have that feature, must come with the high dollar products.
