Thanks Scott he wanted me to get the fully adjustable ones.
Well the head was installed and cams degreed all back together here is a pic of it ready to go up in the frame.
Today I will put the rest of the bike together start it up and most likely start tuning Tuesday
or Wednesday.

Bike is getting a new front tire and being wired up for datalogger as I type
Tuning will start thursday afternoon.
So check back thursday evening for results if we have good weather right now
we have low pressure and scatered rain clouds. 
I just bought a brand new GPS also to see the MPH.

On the Zx12 I did take some off the bottom and many other places.
Same with the ZX14 some places I did not want to but had to try and
make the head flow better.
I will give a better report on my opinion and results thursday evening.
My customer had checked out the head and I explained it to him being
he is in the airforce very intellegent and flies he fully understands the
basics of what I told him.
Scott you should have lived closer to me

I have friend doing my extra zx14 head ..He does NASCAR heads for a living ... We talked about the exhaust port floor and other than just cleaning it up he didn't want to touch it ( floor that is ) But he is looking into rasing the exhaust roof .. He said both intake and exhaust flow pretty good but would come alive with a good bowl work , Port matching and smooth out the casting in the runners ... He felt there was some power with cutting down the valve guides and a proper valve job ...One thing he didn't touch is the speed hump on the intake floor right before the seat ...He said it was placed there for low speed tumble , much like the new pro stock hemi heads... I still have not got the head back because he wants more flow bench testing .. It should make for a good test if i ever get it back ..LOL..

O.K. I had a few set back's
#1 The links I bought were fully adjustable from a 1.5" lower then stock hieght ??
to 5 " lower ??
And paid 187.00 for them
Again this is my customers street bike now I had to cut the links and start milling the
aluminum female ends jst so we could set them back to stock ride hieght if needed.
#2 We were just ready to leave and go tune and almost forgot we need the speedo healer
on the bike to get rid of the limiter installed that on bike real quick and the directions are wrong.
I went down the street at about 60 mph and the speedo said I was doing 140 mph
O.K. turn around figured it out now its almost dark so I just get a 4th gear pull and we are very rich at 11.97 - 12.14 A/F so we headed back.
On the way back I did do a wide open pull from 2nd thru 4th gear limiter and acording to the logger it is pulling its 200 mph gearing very well.
We will finish up on Saturday.

who in their right mind wants 5 inches lower? those guys need to redesign their links...to what you made them
So Sal, how many mph do you think the bike would loose running say 11.5:1 AFR compared to running 12.6-12.8:1 in the 1/4 and mile respectively?
Ali, hes got more than a mile, I think he will hit the 200. as you know, hes kinda good at that sort of thing

Not mentioning any names on the links but you would be suprised who makes them
As far as MPH / AFR about 5 MPH
I am doing this run in .9 miles or should I say 9/10ths of a mile.
I can do a 1 mile standing start also.
I will be testing the velocity stacks compared to the stock stacks also in our ZX14 project
stay tuned for results.

I could not take the suspense any longer !!!
Conditions were 86.4*F heat index 91*F
66% humidity
8 -10 MPH winds coming from my 9-10:00 position if heading North it would be a
west nort west wind
Bike was still very rich today runing an A/F ratio from 12.0 to 11.90
and still ran 196 MPH accidently on the limiter in 2nd and fourth gear the bike was pulling
MUCH MUCH harder even going into 6th and up top of 6th gear
We have some maping to do and I am sure we will get our 200 MPH NO problem !

awesome. this stuff is great.
I knew my bike should pick up mph when I get it tuned better.... I had next to no time for anything during race season, and was running about the AFR I mentioned above(after I fixed an air leak by my O2 sensor grrr I thought I had it mapped well, then bam no Im running pig rich after all) and best mph on motor was 149 in the 1/4 with really awesome cold air.

cool, thats what I had originally expected for mph with my current mods. a pretty healthy 1270 used to run 155 at my local track, im sure he had higher compression, and maybe muzzy cams... hijack over lol
did you remove the flies on the 14?
