soooo close
to hitting 8s today. my best run on nitrous was a 9.02 at 157.
theres lots more in it yet, i will hit 8s. it was super rich at 10.5:1 AFR using the reccomended jets on the schnitz chart for a 60 shot
i played with the lock up some first, and concluded i need to strech my bike more or add more ballast. its leaving pretty good now at 7500 rpm. its still picking the front end up, but i can ride it out fine. im close to being as agressive as possible with a single stage lock up. (ill pm you about it Nox, im going to add some ballast for next wknd)
anyway, heres the breakdown on my best run
60 1.53(best one of the day)
330 3.95
1/8 mph 126.4
660 5.92
990 7.55
mph 157.3
et 9.026
it wheelied a bit in first, set the tire back down just before second gear, and when the nitrous activated in second, it picked the front wheel up at least a foot, and carried it way out to 3rd before it came back down. very smooth power wheelie. it was intense to say the least, my first day trying nitrous was HIGHLY satisfying 
i just ran 91 octane pump gas in both tanks, and went from 3.5 degrees advanced to i believe 2.5 degrees retarded on timing(ill have to double check)
Schnitz electronics + NOS = FAST

i have a solution to the rich problem too... a dry kit in the shop. i think a 15 shot should lean it out to where it should be . i dont think i can add any more power in first or second without more wheelbase or a lot of ballast, so maybe button activated when im in third?
yup, it was totally my fault on the efir. piched wires. i felt like a dumbass after chasing the problem and finally finding it. it was too simple, i was looking for something complicated. live and learn. 2 min it was soldered and shrink tubed and working.

Good job, Scott! You are not using a progressive controller, right? I think that would really help you get the most out of your setup. The further down the track that you add the power, the less it will help your ET.
What was your wheelbase again?

no progressive controller, 60 hp activated in second gear from 7500 to 11000. if i had a controller i would put in my 80 hp jets but 60 is enough in second gear as is, and i cant add anything in first without more wheelbase(8.5 over stock) or more ballast (8lbs). i agree that the sooner its activated the more it helps, but im looking at the sky enough now lol.
i have the dry kit, just need to hook it up, and figure out jetting

ill give you a shout later tonight(if thats ok). my neices are here right now
i noticed on my logs im not getting WOT very fast. in fact most of first is not 100% throttle. im really going to work at that. maybe with the same launch, it will get me down to the 1.45 range, and well into the 8s on just the 60 shot. im still adding the dry kit though lol

That was a 1200 with a 50 or 60, I can't remember which. I weigh 180 nekkid. 1.47 sixty, 66" wb.

Just checked with the old man, my run was on a 50 shot. He's running 60-70hp now so it's about time I sneaked another go on it....
