why dont you just get a walbro pump and put it in the stock pump chassis?
you can "crush" the stock regulator to make it operate at a higher pressure all the time, or put pressure to (i think its) the vaccum line on the regulator to make it operate at a higher pressure for a set duration of time. im sure you could fit an aftermarket one too

Schnitz has some nice setups, but you can cut the top off your tank and just sit on the lower half. It should hold around 3+ gallons. Muzzy pump is easy or you can be cheap and order just the Walbro pump, filter, and plug. I just finished my cut tank (with Muzzy/walbro pump)this weekend and if you like send me an e-mail and I'll send you a picture. I now have my regular tank and the cut tank with the full setup so I can switch back and forth for street and LSR duty.

i have all ready cut my tank. but when i leave hard with it the bike cuts up unless its full. 1.30 60's i got to thinking that if i went with a in line i could get rid of most of the in tank stuff. and maybe it would help. what #### walbro pump is the cheap one. and who did you get it from? i know walbro also makes a in line pump. i just don't know were to get one. thanks.

why would it cout out under power? your pick up is right against the metal plate that bolts to the bottom of the tank (lowest point)

Walbro GSS307
I can't remember who it was, Woppi, Bear, KZ's dad's bike or someone else that nixed the tank completely so they could sit extra low and just put a small fuel cell/tank in the swingarm.
Some of us regular sized folk might end up dragging our knees on the ground with a set up like that though!!!

Yep, intank replacement.............but you will need the filter and wiring plug and mod the assembly a little (Muzzy kit has it all). If your going out of the tank you can pick up an in-line universal one perty cheap. Just look up Walbro fuel pumps. Hope that helps a little.

I have Walbro GS 431 in my tank, it fit to original pump chassis but needs some mod to do,- there is some little metal bracing which is easy to remove to fit walbro correcly. Its very powerful intank pump uses in Impreza and Supra etc.
