wet nitrous lean spike
ok, im doing some testing on my nitrous before i try it. i have a NOS low fuel pressure switch that will shut off my nitrous solenoid if the pressure drops too low, or if the pump dies. the switch works, as it shows the "momentary lean condition" when the solenoid is first activated. (the test light goes out for just a bit) now if i have my nitrous solenoid wired thru that switch, will it give a tiny burst when its first activated(is that the lean spike everyone talks about?), then shut off during the time the pressure is low(light off), then come back on when the pressure is ok again? or will it be such a small fraction of time that the light stays on before it shuts off due to low pressure that the nitrous solenoid will not even open untill the pressure is high enough? causing a slight rich condition?
or
is the lean condition everyone talks about from wiring the solenoids WITHOUT a low pressure switch? both solenoids come on and stay on, but it takes the fuel a bit to get up to pressure and flow the correct amount?
thx guys

Is it an adjustable pressure switch? I would turn it down so it is not sensitive to a minor pulse in the fuel system, but still switches if there is a real problem with the pressure.

yes its adjustable, i turned it down quite a bit (no idea how much pressure as i dont have a high output pump with a regulator or pressure guage, i just have the NOS pump) and still get the light going out for a sec. any idwa how much pressure a full turn would be? i used 1/2

If i understand you correctly, you are dropping fuel pressure when you activate the nitrous.
That's normal when you open the solinoid , the pressure drops until the lines are filled and the pump can build pressure.
