Shinko Life After Tread?
Racheals Gixxer is almost through the tread at the center of her Ultra Soft Shinko. Once the tread is gone, how much rubber is left, for racing? I have heard they still have plenty of life left in them, but I want to be sure. Otherwise I am going to change tires this week.
I also have a couple of old ones in the garage that I could un-retire if they still have life in them....

Shane, how much more do you think your going to get from that tire, while at Jason's Seminar...

I have found that when a tire gets down that far, it is or becomes real hard and offers no traction. All the good rubber is gone.
I would change it.

It's no problem, I can change it. I just didn't want to throw them out if they had a lot of life left....
I can't complain with 150+ passes on the tire...
