We tried a burnout this weekend but it turned out the clutch wasn't engaging properly and the 2nd rail of injectors wasn't coming on, so it went horribly weak as the boost came up and wouldn't spin the tyre properly. On the plus side both turbos are spooling up quickly and working well in relation to each other. Even though it wasn't properly loaded it made 22psi, with the big turbo making 12 of that (we aimed for 8).

We've fixed the clutch so it burns out now. Got quite a bit to do over the winter, and we're gradually getting the hang of the Motec software, which is very comprehensive.

We think there is a problem with the rings as it is getting a lot of fuel in the oil and blowing a lot of oil out of the breather. We have some "total seal" rings that will fix that for next year.

Nowhere else to point it, except sideways. It's not as close as it looks ____________

I would think blowing it straight out would be better considering you know you have had blowby and can see that it gets real close to the back tire.Granted at speed, the wind will push it straight back but maybe further away. Just pondering thoughts and know I could never come close to the expertise that went into this bike.

Bit of an update, the bike is now running 5.3 and 147mph to the eighth, we haven't got a full quarter under power yet.
We are still working on setting the clutch, anti-lag and fuelling. Here's some video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_fS6UFLe5M ____________

Thanks! Last 3 meets we have gone from 13, to 10, to 8 seconds, and haven't run on the throttle past the eighth yet, for a variety of reasons. We think it will run an easy mid 7 on the boost it has now, which is only a quarter of the boost available to us.
I'm putting together a new website which will show the development of the bike. I'll be sure to let you know when it's ready for viewing.
