Whew!! thought i'd run outa things to fukup - NOT!

Yep, I have broken or fukked up just about every part on my heap
Somewhat learning from my mistakes, i was getting resigned to boring turnkey builds.

This morning my new build started right up, sounded great. How boring, I thought. No challenges...

BUT! Lo and behold! Saved from boredom! Woo-HOO!!!

A lil stream of oil was coming from the L. rear of the motor.

Turns out i didn't have the oil seal on the output shaft seated correctly. 20 min later all was well.

let me guess, you pulled the sprocket and used a socket or seal driver to fix it.

I am on a race team, and if it were mine, that bike would have been loaded and covered before I tried to repair the leak. It takes me more than 20 minutes just to clean the old silicone off the case gasket surfaces.

When Kawasaki has the Shifter forks on top and the Output shaft on the bottom I took a Dull Chissel and put marks around the edges of the case to hinder the seal from leaving! I had one slip out at VIR at the end of the up hill back straight and put me and the Bike in the air! I had taken a Plug Chop and the engine was off and the turn was at about 80 or so! Nothing like silence while you and the Bike are taking places being the Highest in the sky!

This leak was not subtle...
