Bear's ZX14 Disqualified for 2 drops of oil from and empty Container!
Sort of DeJa Vue all over again! The AMA Prostar event in Memphis was like Gainesville in 2004 when I was told that the Bear Racing entry would be disqualified "BEFORE" the event started!
Today still getting the bike sorted it finally made a full pass at 7.42 at 190 with still too much spinning of the tire Bud went to tech where a valve that is hand tight used to check any oil from the catch tank was loose and (YES) 2 drops fell out when on the scale (Not a drop or even a Mist anywhere on the bike) it was disqualified! Barry Henson spoke to the Officials and the Bike was reinstated. Then just before the next run Bud was called in by the officials and Disqualifed again! The Day Was OVER!
Only the 3rd full 1/4 mile run the bike has ever made and still qualifed 5th in the filed and was on its way to make a 7.3 or 7.2 pass at over 200 MPH! The bike was running high 1.2 60 foot times and was no where near dialed in! The AMA (As Usual) treated Bear Racing from SA the same! Very Badly!

Sorry to hear that, I would not blame them one bit if they did not want to return to the States.
Real nice of Mr. Henson to try and help out.

Can you say NOT in the click?
Other races have said for years that some crews can break/make the rules as they go
and others can't get a fair race.
Maybe Bear and Kawasaki need to buy a few tickets to the PROSTAR ball.
I saw that zx14 make that last past and joking thought somebodys in trouble now. 
That was not what I had in mind.
Most people thought the new owner were going to change Prostar and make it fair for all.
Anybody remember the 70's Celtics? Every home game was 7 against 5.

I thought you could only be disqualified if you spilled oil on the track or staging lanes., why was he DQ'd the 2nd time ?

I had this "rule" argument with Brandy last year.They enforce whens whenever and on whoever they see fit.I race a lot.At almost every track.But I cannot fathom driving all that way and wondering if i will get to race!

On Psycho Bike (I said the name!  ) on the AMA Prostar drag racing (It was moved from Bench racing) read all about it! ZRX Pilot you just made history! I agree with you 100%! The 2nd DQ for a Reinstatement of the FIrst DQ!

Somebody don't want that zx14 to run. Who has the most to loose if the big KAWASAKI starts setting records? Maybe it's who did Bear piss off?
Somebody with clout don't want that bike to run! WHY?

The deal is that it is NOT Suzuki that Bear Pissed Off! It is a LOT closer to Home!

NinjaBoy did not know I was Black and that was too funny to me since I thought EVERYONE Knew that!!
ALSO this has nothing to do with Suzuki either! If Suzuki was against Bear then Barry could not have built the ZX14 which may end of Quicker and Faster than the Suzuki!

seems a lot o fpeople were dq'd for stupid shit. But whats really ^ucked is they passed tech then dq'd in the first round, you cant pass tech and then get an infraction for something, thats bull, its like they just want the entry money then ^uck you out of it.

You got it exactly right! There is no rule that After a run that you are DQ's if you leak oil it is before the run!
