Trying out the Shinko Stealth tire
  
Just picked up a Shinko Stealth 190/17 tire from Schnitz Racing to replace my worn out M/T MCR2 Shootout tire. Ryan used this on a silver 12 and went in the 8s 60" wheelbase so it should provide decent traction yet be more streetable than the M/T for when I ride too/from the track. Obviously it's not a great street tire nor a great drag tire but should be somewhere in between. Once I test it out I'll post more feedback on it. Fullsize pics on my website. Yeah, let us know!! I wonder if it will hold a 12 with a 6in arm??

All the Busa guys run them around here in Jax. Pretty popular tire. Someone had a bunch of them for sale at a SEMDRA race for $75 once...

i run one on my 6 over 12 and it do's well at the strip. but wont work on the street.

Thanks Brick. I think I will try the Shinko, then. I usually only race at the track anyway.

best 60ft on it is a 1.47 i think it hade about 21lbs.
