Rod bolts
I know this has been discussed before. I just picked up another 00 12 motor and want to check the bearings, I'm not planning on a complete tear down. Do I have to replace the rod bolts or not? Also I have no history of this motor. Whats been your experience?
Thanks

Two theories...........
1, go by the book, and change them..........
2, the bolts are pressed in, and can change the measurement of the rods....., ie, making them slightly egg shaped when you change them..........
I am sure there will be a ton of input on this one.........
There has been proof that re using rod bolts will hold up to 12,000 rpm on stock components on the zx12.

I'll re-use them once or twice.
