oil pressure
I actually have almost 40 psi of oil pressure at 4000 rpm. Everything looks fine. motor seems strong, will be going to a private test session next sunday. Book calls for 28 psi at 4000 rpm. I only have about 10 at idle.......when warm. When cold, I have about 20 psi at idle.....
running Royal Purple Racing 11 oil.
Karl, any input?

Yeah, thats it........ GUD STUF!!
Is the high pressure I am getting above what the book says a problem? almost 40 at 4000, and that is when warm..........

my cold motor does 80psi w/RP 10-40 at around 4000
40# at 4000 is about what i get when hot
i am NOT an oil expert, but yr #'s don't sound extreme.

Great. That makes me feel better. Cant wait to see what she does with the extended ecu, and 2001 crank, 2002 flywheel combo.

That 28 psi @ 4,000 is a minimum spec.
I also get 40 psi WARM @ 4,000 w/ Mobil1 15w50.
