All riders have to go 125, 150, 175 MPH passes before you are aloud to let er rip.
If you guys bring 1/4 mile slips or proof you run at Texas mile they just may let you skip
at least the 125 MPH run.

what if you have gone 150 or more in the 1/4? shouldnt they just let you go for 175? seems logical to me...

I think Keith will still want you to make a 150 pass . I asked the same thing last year and they would not budge.
and even if you had and SCTA or ECTA license , you would have to make a 150 mph pass the first time a new vehicle ran at maxton... I made that mistake already.....

Texas Mile might either be late March or early April (5-6), not determined yet. Depends on
NASA road race schedule.
I do hear the first and last couple events tend to be the busiest at maxton.
June, would be nice for Texas folk as it would actually put an event between our two,
plus scare the riff raff away so that we would actually have time to make 3 passes for
licensing.

JUNE IS A VERY HOT ONE !!!!
I would pick any other one than June.

We averaged one pass every four hours at Maxton during the March meet due to the larger than normal crowd because of the Hot Rod magazine top speed shoot-out for cars.
Wish they'd move that event until May or June and free up March since everyone's had cabin fever over the winter and is wanting to make the first meet.

Moving the hot rod magazine to May is a great idea but they are big car fans
and would not do a June meet to their car guys figuring they would not have a good turnout
next time due to swelltering hot weather.
I skiped the first meet last time due to the hot rod magazine meet.
We will have to see what is scheduled.

I have been there in June and you just never know! The GOod news is I have never seen 100 Degrees there and the Best I saw was between 85 and 90 and the worst I saw was between 90 and 95! It was that temp when peggy set the record with her SUpercharged Mini at 123+ in the standing mile. This was Before the Pulley change, Header and Exhaust change or the ECU Change! She says she will not go back and up the record!

Hope you TX boys can make it. I just looked at my credit card receipt from driving to and from TX for the last mile....I'm broke as a JOKE. My max is the damn minimum payments...dammit! Not sure I can make TX financially....at least not March.
One thing that pisses me off about the car guys is.....
THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO BLOW UP AND OIL DOWN THE TRACK AND YOU'RE JUST LEFT SITTING THERE, USUALLY WITH NO SHADE, CONSTANTLY MONITORING NITROUS PRESSURE AND HAVING TO BLEED OFF NITROUS PRESSURE (THUS LOSING THAT SMIDGE OF NITROUS YOU NEED DEEP IN 6TH GEAR!!!)
Ok, end rant!
