tonite i made my 100th 1/4 mile pass on my zx12r
1---9.7--------- 5---9.8's--and 2---9.9's
on passes 98,99,and 100 i whipped the same busa.
very appropriate don't you think.
i have owned the bike since sept.2000......it now has 41,350 miles.
what an outstanding machine.

I made over 900 before spinning a rod bearing............
I guess its a decent motor.......lol

i got 55 my first wknd. you might say i hot lapped it a bit LOL (not many guys there that wknd, gotta love open time trials when you are learning) I missed a few races and we have a short season, but i did manage to get in just over 140 runs. i have 136 time slips from this yr (my first) i misplaced a few slips, and there were a few runs that the machine fucked up and didnt print a slip. I think Im hooked LOL

I have been running 1/8th and 1/4 for about 1 year or so. I have run about 250 passes at various strips, and about 25 top speed runs at Maxton:
23k miles, original plugs, valves never adjusted.

Very Nice Mark, 100 passes no big deal, but @ 41,000 miles...Thats Impressive!!!...What oil you been using and how often have you changed it???
You guys dont want to know how many passes I have on my 2002 12...
900...Ahhhhhhhhhhh, thats nuttin!!!
My 12 is named 'Ol Reliable...Put it to you this way, I am convinced the RedLine 10-40 Synthetic is the best!!!

after break -in it has been mobil-1 ever since.15-50 car oil.cause you guys said it works.
i change every 2000 miles with a oem filter

My 12 has 4200 miles, 1000 break in on the street and hiway, 3200 DragStrip!!!...No problems and motor never opend up, not even the valve cover!!!
41000 miles, you got your $$$ worth already!!!
