Nitrous question

I've got a muzzy's stealth nitrous kit on my zx12r. It came with 14 nitrous and 16 fuel jets when I bought it new from muzzys. According to them that's supposed to be 50 horse but on nos's site, which the stealth kit has muzzys nozzles and solenoids, that's only supposed to be 24 horsepower, I guess my question is who do I believe? I want a bigger shot but I dont wanna jet for 70 horse off of nos's chart and then grenade my motor because I should've been going off of some other muzzy's chart or something. Thanks.

If you go to www.schnitzracing.com and get on the Technical section, there is a chart that gives their answer to your question.
According to that chart, 24 HP is about right.

If your motor is stock and you run a 70 shot, you may want to consider exhaust valves and springs. Maybe also a basket as well.

My bike has a set of 2mm over je nitrous pistons in it, kibblewhite springs and titanium retainers, ape valves, ape head studs, billet clutch basket, etc, etc, etc, etc, you know you those darn etc's go lol. I built the motor to handle the spray I just hadn't really played with the kit yet. Sounds like I need some bigger jets.

By "NOS" Pistons?? Thicker Dome? Or the fact that they are Forged!

Sotck will handle (SHould I say the 00 ZX12) will handle a 70 shot but I would not go more!

I'm running a spacer plate with the stock length rod and the ring pack in the stock location to allow for a thicker dome and just generally more material on top of the piston. Je said that 150 horse wouldn't even phase em. I'm just workin my way in slow to get used to the way it's gonna act.

remember the muzzy kit sprays all 4 cylinders with 1 jet. the nos company is probably saying that jet for each cylinder.

The stealth nitrous kit is a wet kit with 4 seperate fogger nozzles. It has 1 each setup showerhead style over each velocity stack.

There is still some debate but we Know the 00 has been sprayed up to 100 SHot and KAWASAKI stated in the Silver Book that the 00 had FOrged Pistons!
