3 riders down

Atco had 3 riders down during the US Nationals.First one was Sat.It looked like the tranny locked up or the chain broke but he just started skidding around half track.he walked it off.Sunday saw 2 riders having get offs. The first looked like the front end just washed out, although there was something mentioned about the tranny breaking.I believe he took a cautionary ride to the hospital. The second rider on Sunday, lost it in the same spot as the earlier rider. They didn't say anything about what happened or about the rider.he didn't get up and was transfered to the hospital also. Both on Sunday were after the finish line so they were flying.
Prayers out to the fallen. It was not a good thing for my wife to see as she'll be thinking the worst when I go.

There was a guy @ the NHRA division 1 finals MapleGrove Reading, Pa. that hit the front brakes to prevent from breaking out...He still broke out and broke his bike...

Not worth it to me, I'd rather lose the race than to dump my bike at the finish line!!!

Seems like it was enough for Mcbride to go 235mph and into the 5's.I did notice a lot of riders spinning on the start, but after listening to nox,I had just assumed it was a clutch or tire pressure problem.
There was also a rider there I'm told that had two prostetic legs.I'm always impressed with people overcoming adversity.
I couldn't believe the amount of bike clubs wearing colors at the event. It was strange for me after having dabbled in an outlaw mc for a year.these guys were well behaved and no attitudes thrown around.Great for attendance, but confused my senses as to which I liked better, the smell of bbq or race gas.

Wonder how much weight he saves with those?

Are they carbon fiber?

Yes they are and he has 2 sets, 1 for racing which makes him a few inches shorter
when wearing, and his everyday set which puts him around 6ft.
