I believe robinson industries makes em. It seems like I read a big drawn out post where Doug Meyer said it wasn' t worth the money but dont quote me, ask him.

Mark at R&D told me the billet gears will wear more quickly than the stock ones, on a street bike.

lower first is a noticeable change......., wondered why my burnout took so long, lol

It is a big change on the track, well worth it.

awesome, my 60s could be a lot lower lol .best yet was a 1.59, but i was getting lots of mid 1.6s
so if i leave 4th, 5th and 6th stock (for street "life") would they be strong enough for drag use? [remember my target is to build a 230-240 hp bike (nitrous, porting and big bore...i think lol).] thats the thing that im worried about....also how much faster do the billet gears wear out? i know this might start up an argument, but would royal purple help prevent this? (nox you use this right?)

Softer material so they do not stress fracture as easy.

A stock motor with a 70 shot will have you at the HP numbers your looking for. I had 238 on my stocker.
JohnnyCheese has a nice stealth kit with the works for sale. He is selling it for a friend of his who ran over a 150 shot on his 1270 for a while. He could not get what he had in the bike after he bought a ZX-14 so he has been parting it out to get more for it.

I also have low first and it is rather nice as well.

Mr. Robinson, I think has a little bit different cut on the gears, so be sure and match that with your trans or you will have problems. He has also done a few sets of OD 5th and 6th gears for Mr. Hill.

yeah, ill be talking to you about a lock up when i get one nox
TRNorBRN6001, I just might have a part of that bike lol I got an MTC billet basket from Mr Cheese awhile back. The thing is i dont want to make all the extra hp with nitrous. I want to have lots of "muscle" for the street and only use nitrous when i need to (running heads up, ect). I want to be able to walk a new piped litre bike when i have the gf on the back with me (on the street) without spray.... i know, i like to make things too complicated lol
i should just turbo the thing and put every billet part ever made for it in it but i need to win the lottery first LOL
would an over drive 5th and 6th help any in a drag race if you allready had a lower first gear? would you want to change the sprockets to make the top end gearing the same to make first even lower? ....hmmm does that answer my own question....would it make first too low?

Yes, you do have a part of Ralf's bike.

Yep, I hear ya on the N/A HP............but it is not cheap either.

I went the route you are contemplating, and I would do it again, and again, and again.

210HP on Motor sure is nice on the street....................................plus a little 70 shot for the Texas Mile might get my 250+ lbs running 200mph.

Be sure and keep us up to date on what you decide.

I weigh 210/230 lbs. in full gear. My 00' & my 1270 combo handle 1K bikes on the street just fine.

Hey Shawn it must be nice handleing those literbike guys. I can handle them too but barely without nos. Imagine a 98lb rider on a new gixxer1 with gearing and a slip on, pain in the a--
The guy runs 123 mph in the eighth at a mile high track. My bike runs 118.5 in the 1/8 and i do run him down on the back 1/2 but you can see my dilema.
