Who will I see at Byron, IL this weekend?
This will be my first 2Wheelspeed event. Been looking at atteding for the past 3 years. I am bringing two other guys with me. We're leaving (St. Louis) tomorrow around 3pm we will be getting in town late Friday.
Anyone else here on bikeland attending this weekend?

Hey Mike in looking at the calendar I see there will be some car and junior dragster classes racing that weekend as well. Is there an area where the majority of the bikes usually park?

yep over on the back side of the track about half way down by the tree's!
you should see our bikes... blue and black busa, my 12, 98 R1 red and white, Black ZX14, Black Busa...
for starters.

Okay one last question are there any decent hotels near the track? (info please)
Do some of you stay over night at the track?
I guess that was two questions.

Had a blast at Byron,
After giving a race away 2nd round in SS on Saturday night and in ET early Sunday.
I ended up taking 3rd in Super Stock Sunday, brokeout with a 9.499 on a 9.50 index.
Glad I got a chance to meet all of the bikeland members and locals who run at Byron, IL. We will definitely be back next year to run more events. Thanks to MM for letting others know we were coming. I was greeted by so many people I couldn't keep up with who was who. We definitely felt at home while racing this weekend.
That track had some fast azz bikes there.

I was there....lol
Suxs they had to many other $hit going on with our bike event. Its usually not like that. So if you enjoyed yourself this time make sure you come again and hopefully you'll get some more runs in.
