NOX video
July 14th, 2007 95 degree heat, 85% hum, 3000 DA, 29.75 Barometer. Test day at the track.
1.38 60 FT, 5.83 1/8th at 123, 7.48 AT 135 AT 1000 FT, the 1000 at this 1000 ft track is a hair short, this would have been like a 7.51 at say RRR.
BTW, the Trimph Rocket in the next lane had some tuning done to it, it was pushing 230 lbs of tq. He was running 9.2 at 1000 ft. 1000 pound package, thats crazy.

Man i am gonna call BS on eithr track length OR you not spraying...
So you are running 8.80's on your bike all motor (stock ZX12 motor)? I am looking at the 1000' mark on my slips and i am running 1.58 to 1.62 and that is a 9.00 pass.

There is a guy here in VA that has squeaked an 8.9 on a stock motor...lowered, air shifted, piped, geared and he's avg weight.
I don't think its BS. Geoff w/a 1397 Busa, streteched 6" I believe on nos went 5.90 128mph and 8.90 162mph.
Nox seems to have more ET (look at that 60!) and less MPH (5 mph off the nos big bore busa).
I'm running near that trap speed in the 1/8 but about 6.2s....9.4s so far in the 1/4. Its definately not impossible IMO that he's getting it done. His bike isn't exactly BONE STOCK...and it weighs 430 lbs! Think about it for a bit.

Shipteey - my bike goes 5.80's every pass. A 5.80 is a 9.00 on my bike (all motor). But i guess if the whole combo is flyweight on a 68" hill climber it is possible.
I weigh 755lbs for bike and me with 2 gallons gas so it is a heavy setup... That top post of mine is supposed to read 7.58 - 7.62 for the 1000' mark....

Thats some weight you are carrying!
For reference Nox has a 430 lb bike, mine is 465 w/a splash and a nos bottle. But I weigh less than him, my total combo is 595 w/gear! His was only slightly higher.
So yeah, over 100 lbs...may be worth a tenth or so...lol

I did make reference to the track at the top, read again dude.......
Nuke dog, send me 1,000 DOLLARS , and I will video tape me pulling my motor apart........., and send it to you.........., if you like, I will send you photos of my stacks air box, etc, and show you there is no nitrous.
Put your money where your mouth is.........
BTW, big difference between "5.80s" and 5.80. Now, you say your package weighs 755, but you go 5.80s............, what bike do you run, what mods...........
Sounds like you are comparing apples to oranges............., if you like, i will post the time slip.
Can you show a vid that you did it........
BTW, shiphteey seems to have the concept.........

Now, for those that don't want to talk smack, and know how and why I am doing this, if you watch that vid, you will see tire spin, I hate tire spin, and I have not been able to reproduce that pass, even in better condtions.........
SO, back to the drawing board, I finally took the right door, pulled some trickery out of my you know what, and got a great set up that gives a harder charge at the top........., weird combo, but it works and hooks hard enough to move the tire in the rim on the hit......
I got back down to 5.85, and am gaining........, it would have rolled harder, but the barometer was only 29.58. BTW nukedog, when the barometer is down, 12s run like crap.........
SO, I cannot wait for some 29.9 or 30.0 BP. I will post some vid later........
I think when I go back in a couple of weeks, I can hit 5.7s.........
This combo works, and repeats............ Once I found it, I ran 3 short times, that were within .007. Yes, .007.
Plus, my diet is going good............, I hope to be 155 by next outing and 165 or 170 suited. I was 175 suited last night.
And no, its not stock by showroom stock, but it has no mods to the internal combustion motor. All bolt on parts. No web cams, muzzy cams, cam sprockets, big bore, thin gaskets, or bottle fed.........

Well since you want to be all defensive. What kinda clutch you using? As you see in the second reply to Shipteey i realized it was 68" long and that is where you are getting the 60' and the 1/8th. Good luck on your 5.7's - certainly possible with a light combo and a hillclimber...
I don't care to see your video or get in a internet fight. So maybe lose you attitude a bit. Where are you located at? You would run slower in FL...

That track is in NW arkansas..........
MTC mutli stage.........
Last year, with a single and messed up tranny, I ran 9.24, in LA at RRR in 104 degree heat, 85 % humidity, and around 3900 DA air............
Why is florida so bad, do you have 90% humidity? More than 100 degrees heat........, yea, so does everyone else at times.......
What I am saying is this.............., give me exact same conditions here, and same there in FL, and I will go Faster in florida, because it is closer to sea level.........
Why do you think Houston is so fast, it is BELOW sea level..........
Go to Noble, OK, and you are 2000 ft above sea level, you lose like 2 to 3 tenths.........
Dr. Joe knows this, eh Dr. Joe?
I am not trying to start a fight, but what I am saying is, you are talking apples to oranges.......
Obviously, you dont like long bikes, if so, stay out of the discussion. I enter lots of money races, and this is not just a hobby for me. I posted this thread for those that are trying to get as much out of thier bikes as possible.........., for those wanting to win every time they stage, whether it is bracket or heads up., and those that get pissed at thier fastest pass, because they just found out with that pass, that there is more available.........
I am happy, my bike is faster than ever, but mad, because I cant get more out if it, until I make a few more minute changes to the lockup, in TWO WEEKS........
So please , do eveyone a favor, and stay out of it.........
Karl, when you get back to 1/4 mile racing, send me a pm, got some killer info I think that will make TFA roll..............

nox,
I have been traveling a bit and just saw yr vid.
Nice pass!, AND it looks like you have even more in it as the f wheel doesn't seem to be lifting at all. Might be my ole eyes...
As for nuke calling BS on you
I am still playing around with tweaks on this build fine-tuning the 1427 set up so when you decide to go into yr motor you can just follow a plan
Texas mile in 5 weeks!
