Bergie, Bergie, Bergie!!!
Ok, now that I've seen the video, I've got questions man!
It's a great looking video man, I really liked it.
it sure looks like he was spinning the instant he started moving, and spun most of first gear. Is that right?
also, which M/T is that, ......MT1 or MT2?
Does the track normally give you traction problems?
I'm really curious because my POS almost NEVER does that even on the stock tire! Hell, I'm afraid to 'force' it to do a little spin for fear of an instantaneous, uncontrollable, sky-scraping wheely.
Looked and sounded like he was foot-shifting too! Makes it even more impressive!
Speaking of shifting, it sounded like he hit 5th gear. I assume that's absolutely necessary with the 16/43?? Do you know how far before the finish the shifts happen? (even for yourself)

Let's see here.. Ryan may have spun slightly but i don't think he spun much, however it was leaving tracks since we were the only vehicles on the track in a couple days prior to that. I did have some problems earlier that day but I dropped it to 22psi on the MCR2. At least with ME on it I didn't have any issues after that.
The 16/43 gearing is whimpy (2.69 ratio)... I normally go thru in 4th at redline. It's virtually equivilent mathematically to 17/46 (or -1 front, stock rear) which is 2.70 ratio gearing only slightly less gear and significantly longer wheelbase which maxes out the stock arm and stock chain.
Ryan grabbed 5th because he said that he could feel the bike drop off in power up top so he shifted early. With proper gearing it would go quicker I'm sure if he used all of 5th gear. I tried grabbing 5th several times although my ET remained consistant my mph dropped from 152s to 149~150ish when I hit 5th with this gearing.
Oh and YES he (and I) were foot shifting all day. I removed the solenoid and bottle after it STUCK the shiftlever in the up position leaving me stranded at the top end of the track the very first time I tried it with a new regulator. I think it got too much pressure or the regulator didn't work or both, not sure and dont care anymore. I've had enough problems with the airshifter so I'm leaving it off the rest of this year and maybe for good. It's a blessing in disguise because I needed to re-learn launches manually anyway, so I'm glad I'm not relying on it anymore. I finally got back down to 1.65's without it, working on improving more..
