flowtech billet basket
anyone ever use one for a 12? how do they compare to a muzzy basket? Im looking at one in the classifieds but i havent seen that name before so i wanted to get a little background info first

Never heard of one ??? Can't go wrong with a MTC basket........

im pretty sure it was custom made now. the guy claims its better than muzzy, mtc or falicon.
exhaust is still laying on the garage floor  I wanted to see how quick i could go on stock headers as i have a bunch of stuff to try out and dont want to change a lot at once. then i broke and didnt get to see how a good tire helped out....i was running a regular street tire @ about 8 over and you and i both know that isnt good for traction lol
I was getting 10.2_s @ 135 with a stock bike with these mods:
8 over, muzzy slip on, K&Ns, lowered 2 in in rear(links) 1 in in front (slide forks up in triples, no strap), 17 46 gearing
60' times were usually 1.7s, 1.8s either leaving easy or spinning bad, im sure i can hit 9s with it without a pipe. (just had a shinko u soft mounted before i broke). i also have a 48, 50 (friends) and a 51 to try on the rear for sprockets to try and hit all 6 gears (air shifter in the mail)
once i get my clutch fixed and im running my best times without a pipe ill put it on and try a few maps in the power commander (not hooked up yet) and see how that helps et

That's cool...I think I went as fast as a 9.39 with my stock exhaust... I'll check my pile of time slips.

stock motor too? maybe some nitrous running through those stock pipes ?

Had the lockup working pretty good...... Stock motor, it was cold out ( good air ) the track was hooking and I was running MR9 fuel. But no spray !!

I have went 9.10 at 147 on stock pipe...........
It was 50 degrees. U4 fuel. No PC either. Single stage lockup.

give them a call they have all the same machinery that mtc,muzzy and falicon do. i am willing to stand behind my basket ,but can u say the same for the rest? this motor has been 8.50's on spray w/ this same basket and the single stage lockup. i'm willing to bet that a carrillo rod would break or u will spin a bearing before this basket fails u just ask kz scott to send u the pics.
