Hey guys, well just spent a bit of writing up the project I'm just finishing.....I'd like to hear everyones input.

I dedicated a page here www.garthman.com/frank.htm Just tells about how the bike was put together and such and for those who havent been following heres the build page www.garthman.com/frankzx10.htm.

Let me know what ya guys think of this 22 yr old bike builder. Doing everything on my own was a blast, I'd like to know what ya guys think!

Something has to break....

Just kidding guy.. awesome mods...hope it works well.. would love to see run in person...

1.You changed out cam chain tensioner for aftermarket racing piece?? any R & D on that?

2. Wonder if any clutch fibers or steels from another bike would work on the 2004 ZX-10R??

I see the clutch as the weak link for dragracing.. hopefully the lockup clutch will cure much of that..

I ask cause I have not done and am planning to dragrace for fun and competition...

Have a new Mickey Thompson slick , wheelie bar . lockup clutch, two step, falicon billet clutch basket, evo shift star, 02 sensor, U4 racing fuel, muzzy full system exhaust , BMC filter and a few other goodies for my ZX-10R...

Nowhere as powerfull or elaborate as your project...bit worried about breaking stuff at the strip.. but hey ..thats the price of learning what works and having fun.. no?

keep us informed....very interesting project dragbike...

Thanks!!

Stock cam tensioner......we have been using them in all sorts of big hp bikes and they do just fine. We havent tried to switch out the fibers from anything yet, maybe a gsxr1k will work but no bigger bikes unless the 14's is better, not quite sure, maybe somehtign can be fabbed up but still not to sure.

I will defiantly post up some sort of numbers tomorrow though, planning on going to the dyno in the early morning to do tuning and do a solid motor map, we should be getting our nitrous bottle in tomorrow so this thing should be ready to go tomorrow!!!!

A big bike event is goin on this saturday at moroso so maybe frank will race it there?
