newbie drag racer update
last week i posted a thread looking for some advice and i got a few good ideas from you guys, so i figured the least i could do is post results.
my best run was 11.528@117 w/ 1.858 60' and a .079 light.. i actually spun 2nd pretty good, so that could have been a 11.4x run, who knows. i had a few other 11.6x runs along with a slower run when the other guy red lighted and my last pass my tranny came out of gear. my previous best was a low 11.7, so defnitely a big improvment.
for anyone that didn't read my last thread, the bike is a 97 cbr600F3 with a slip-on and geared down -1, +2. this time i put a strap on it and WOW, what a difference. this was my second trip to the strip on a bike, and i couldn't be happier. i know i've got more in my launch, and i can't wait to go back.

JSpin,
Improvement feels GREAT, eh??
only 2 things stand between you and going quicker/faster:
1. practice
2. Mastercard
Only 1 difference between drag racing & heroin: drag racing is legal.

well i've got a good thing going with cheap and reliable, so i'm going to roll with that for a little while. my visa sponsership ran dry when i built the motor for my car, so thats out of the picture anyway, haha. as long as i keep my ass out of the dealership, i'll be good.
think practice is probably my best investment at this point, and it's just a little cheaper than a new bike.
