ZX14 Drainplug
Move it. Don't be like me. I could not believe how easy this was to rip off. I actually destroyed mine laoding it on a trailer. Having it welded up and moved to the left side of the pan.

What did you do? Did you bottom out at the angle point of your ramp right before you got it up in the trailer? Did it happen because it was lowered?
Just curious.

No, my bike is not lowered yet. I pulled a Dumbass ass and ripped it off at the angle where the trailer and ramp meet.
I know this wont happen if you're loading the bike without your head up your ass (like I did), but I didn't hit it that hard. that is what really suprised me. It seems really easy to break if you know what I mean. I just figured it would take a better shot than that to rip the pan.

I had a feeling that's how you broke it, as I stated above.
Wow, they sit THAT low? I plan on buying one next year, so this is interesting news to me.

now that im thinking about it. someone had pics of the pan with the drain plug moved. Its on here somewhere

it was definitely my fault, but there are a lot of dragracers scuffing them and ripping them off too.

too bad your not closer I would sew it up for you.
I have fixed alot of cast pieces, and I always use seel threaded inserts in aluminum.
the last oil pan I fixed was a vw , and had to pay 70.00 for the 14mm sti kit.
I think its worth it if you plan on repeated removal and installation. Just a thought
