Street/Strip tire?
I need a new tire and was looking for some input on what to get .I ride the bike nearly everyday on the street and go to the track 1 to 2 times a week , what would be the best tire for me to get? Thanks for the help.

The Dunlop 207 seem to serve double duties well. Bridgestone BT 010 also works too. The 010 last a little longer under normal use but if you drag race/ flog any bike no tire last long  On the strip though it depends on if the track has traction or sprayed with VHT compound then any tire will hook up. Tire presure and heating any tire helps too

Hey man, how goes it,, if you want a really sticky tire, I can get the M/T 1 which is a street and drag tire... there has been a lot of discussion on tire's out here on the net, when I had the stock wheelbase I never had a problem with my 207, but then I never tried anything else...

The Shinko 003 is supposed to be a good tire, and is pretty cheap -$145.

How much for the M/T 1 ? And how much wear do you think I would get out of it using it on the street?

Yes Im going to be there! well unless something major happens! and I will call you about the tire, and mine lasted almost the whole year, it really depends on how much you do Smokey burnouts!! out on the street. LOL...

shinko the best tire for a stock arm bike.mine pulled a 1.47 with a shinko and a 6 over arm. but it want hook on the street with the arm.

My 010 looks like it is going to outlast my clutches. I have about 60 passes on it and it still looks good. Much less, the 1000 or so miles on the street.
