heavy hitters, what kinda times all motor stock wheelbase
Curious on what I should set my goals at.
I was able to get a 9.80 last season weighing in at about 235 suited with these mods
Slammed/strapped
Full muzzy
No flies
-1 up front
Now I have added a
Pc3
Air shifter
In your guys opinion or experience where should I be at?
Hoping to make it this weekend to see what I can manage first time out this year.
Thanks for any help or advise.

ZX14 right?
I would say 9.60-70 should be very good. problem is your fighting the wheelies... you will get a hell of a lot more out of an arm... 6" over then you can still ride on the street well...

Thanks
I was hoping for some 60's myself.
I really don't wanna stretch it.
I have a busa just about finished up for shootout and this is my first bike I had at stock wheelbase in a very long time.
Forgot how fun they can be!
If I do extend, I was only thinking of putting a 60" cheater arm.
Yes its a 14 and you're right about fighting them wheelies.

Nem I'm gonna put you in the 50's all day long. With practive, you'll get used to launching it at Stk wb, and you also have the luxury to try a variety of fuels which can get you there.
I'm 35lbs lighter than you suited with a best of 9.63 airshifting with stk pipes,no flies, and stk wb. Now I know 35lbs is quite a bit of difference but I believe it can be done with your mods.
Start with an 87 octane pump gas then go to VP fuels U4 and then MR9. (Give a report)
4,500-5,000rpm is my preference off the line. What rpm do you leave at?
Good Luck.
BTW, the wheelies is what the spectators like. Remember we're entertainment for some.

Not really that hard Nem, these bikes run. My best on my Busa set up the same way was 9.68 vs 9.42 for the 14.
