GROUND CLEARANCE

Does anyone other than Prostar require a 3" Ground Clearance?

I can get my bike WAY low if I go to 2 with the new Koenig pan, already dropped it almost an inch, and I got way more left..........

I could really care less about Prostar, since they only come close here once......, if I was going to spend the Money, I would rather go up and race some of the Hardcore stuff and eat chicken with Mike.............lol

I am going to set it at 2", basically by the NHRA rulebook, like I always have, the 3" thing is the only thing, for et classes, anyway, that differs from the rest of the NHRA book.

Thanks Mike, I figured you would know........., I am having to cut a ton off the kickstand, but dang it looks mean........., gotta dremel the catalyst lower, but its been cut a ton before too........

Also, while I am ranting, I just got a used works drag shock, 1" shorter than stock, or maybe 1 1/2, and set up for a 10 over arm, and 175 pound rider....., perfect........., and only paid 300,........

anyway, this thing seems stiff as hell..........., WAY stiff. I have a link pro, used it on the stock shock, and could really stiffen up the stocker, but this thing seems way stiff........., did I get hosed, and get a shock set up for someone on Team Fat Ass?

I would say no, a good shock seems stiffer. it is weird? but if you plop down on the bike hard it should come down smooth... that or find some TFA friend and have them do some squats on your seat... LOL...

Hey take some pix's cant wait to see how it looks all slammed!!!

Koenig, its nice, very nice...........

lowest part of the bike, with the front lowered 2 1/4 inches , is the brock sidewinder....., I could get the back lower, but it puts the pipe too low......., the pan is WAY up there......

I am going to go with the 2 1/4 lowering blocks from Schnitz in the forks, and put the hard parts at 2 inches of ground clearance........., just gotta dremmel the catalyst lower now.....,

It will be close around the pipe exit, gotta be careful.......

Oh, and for those wondering, the kickstand had to be cut, right at the peg that the springs hooks on to.........

Looks mean this low..........., should help my ets

seat height will be about 25 inches

Nox would you say the 2.25 lowering blocks are too low for street use with a Brock gen 3 pipe and regular oil pan? Just trying to decide how far to lower the front forks. I ride the track sometimes and cruise the bike on the street. Thanks for the info.

Yeah. You would have the regular pan sitting about a half inch from the ground.........

I mean look at your kickstand, think of cutting it at the lever that the spring is hooked too., thats where mine sits now..........
