BAd gas Mllage
Hola Mi Gente.
From full tank till last gas gauge bar i am getting 63 miles.. bike seems to stutter when i take off in 1st gear and have to let off for whatever reason then get back on it it stutters, {seems like i am hearing detonation in the TB's, but my mind coule be playing tricks} never done that b4, I have idle turned to about 1200 any lower and it seems to want to turn off when coming to a stop..

TPS maybe?
It has been running this way since i put her back after my wreck? Air in TB boots?

I would not start correct? or run very poorly whihc it is not.. just the on throttle off throttle thingy.. but when i get into her she runs out fine...
I have no pc3 installed, but i do have one that i just picked up with a custom map, which i have not installed yet... trying to find out what the tps was set at when map was done.. b4 i install it...
I never messed withe the tps switch when putting bike back together....

no FI error messages?
what about the pressure sensor in the tail, is it hooked up??

this may sound strange... but is your battery Fully charged??? sometimes if you have an old or weak battery it may lead to some really strange things happening...

Its not tire pressure that is making it sputter...
but last i ckeked it was 35psi

Try running some injector cleaner in it for a couple of tanks.Your bike had been sitting for a long time correct?

was at the local 1/8 mile last night... best i did was a 7.35... i know..i know it sucks.. my buddy ran it 2 times and got a 6.33 and a 6.21,

Voz, I would watch going to the track until the motor problem is at least identified.If your injectors are a little clogged,you may get detonation in spots.just don't want to see ya having to take it apart right when the weather starts to turn nice.I know all about that!

Voz, you have a PC right?...If so disconnect it and take it for a ride...Maybe some ignition wiring is loose somewhere???...Maybe a ground wire???...How old is the battery and are the battery cables tight on the battery, check the plugs on the battery case, maybe not making a good connection!!!

I installed PC yesterday, i took out battery to install ground wire from PC, everything seems good there...

Did you break into the wire harness anywhere???...recheck it if you did...Maybe you have something in the tank???...What gas are you using try some fuel injector cleaner with new gas...
