Clutch Questions?
Just about to install my second Muzzy clutch and wondered if I should soak the steel's aswell as the fibres before I do the install. I usually only soak the fibres overnight and add the steels dry. Would there be any benefit from putting the steels in with a coating of oil. Also can someone tell what the 2 rings are at the bottom of the hub. What purpose do they servre?.

I always wipe the steels with oil before installing. Might as well get the whole clutch wet while you are at it.
The two circular things are washers that need to be installed with the kit.

I also always wipe down the steels right before I install... and the rings are for the skinney fiber that you have the innermost fiber... they are for chatter prevention..make sure you put that fiber on the bottom...
