TX12, just to give you a comparision, running n/a on the only windless pass I ran 185 mph with 205 gearing! Keep in mind my weight though and the carbon fiber wheels. I would say 190 was possible had I gone +2 in the rear....
....shoulda coulda woulda.....
FWIW I usually bring Sprockets 43T to 47T if you'd like to experiment w/gearing out there w/out dropping a ton of $$$ for sprockets you'll barely/never use.
If the bike is no longer "limited/restricted" anymore and has EITHER the stock rev limiter of 11.6 or an extended ecu I wouldn't even think twice with stock motor n/a and run 18/47. No winds and you MAY tag the limiter at the traps but I kinda doubt it, headwinds and you'll thank me.
Ask around, just about EVERYONE ends up going to LSR with too tall gearing!
I went to Maxton 1st time with 207ish gearing and ran 189 on spray! 205 gearing got me 190 @ TX, and I had to go to 200 mph gearing to run 193.3 MPH.
I'm pretty sure wideout and lie to me did too! I would look at the big picture anyways:
You have limited runs and TX mile isn't exactly "cheap"....maximize the MPH you get out of each run.

Any aero testing done vs regular style pipes? I'm sure it puts out more HP....just curious.

Ship, when my 'love handles' aren't flapping in the wind, I'll start worrying about the pipes and knee pucks.
