Sad to say but if you want something that has lots of parts availability then I would look at either an older KZ or GS based bike.

NOTHING out there has more aftermarket stuff available than a Busa. It is the small block chevy of the motorcycle world.

How quick ya want to go? Are you a Kawasaki fan? if so why not get a ZX-14 and can still ride on the street... looking for a drag only bike?
A ZX-14 will go 8's in the 1/4 mile if set up for drag racing without having to do huge mods...doing what you have done to your ZX-10R to a ZX14 would be more than enough .....
A ZX-14 won't burn clutches so easy as your ZX-10R does and has the torque to carry your 230 lbs plus weight with little problems...
Have fun deciding...

zx14 slammed, 6" over, and a 40 shot would be hellified fun.
Unstrap the front and raise the back 1 hole to ride across the country.
If you like bolt-ons you add even more flexiblity.
Not much support or parts for the zx12 anymore.

My vote goes to the 14, I have ran 9.42 at 151 stock wheelbase at 216lbs unsuited and like ninja 12 said I raised it back up and rode it on a 1600 mile trip and avg 41 mpg.

Busa has lots of parts but there is alot of stuff on the way for the 14 and my vote goes to the 14 as well. Benly hit it on the head, rip at the strip then rider to where ever in comfort.

Thanks to reynoldss, I now have one of the baddest street zx14. I have gotten her into the 8s on countless occasions and rode her about 2hrs to make it home. And was ready to go the next day.

For a heavy hitter you may want to consider a turbo Busa, as they are a dime a dozen out there.........................................but if your partial to Kawi and you have a roll or two your wanting to burn then pick up a 14 and have Bear or Brock massage it for you.
Custom tune each cylinder? might be with that new power commander Hub, it can do anything.......................................................I hear it can even wipe your arse with the proper programming!!!!!!!

Yep, with PC3 USB you can apparently "trim" AF on individual cylinders by 5?%
(if you had some means to know how much to trim them )
Time to get some trim!!!
