How to launch my 14?
Im thinking about taking my 14 to the track Friday night. Ive been riding all my life, and I have had a Zx-12, a Kawasaki Turbo, and my 14, but I have never drag raced a motorcycle before. I have been down the strip in my EVo9 a few times. Any pointers on how to launch, and what RPM to launch, and what RPM to shift at?
Thanks!

What RPM is best for launch?

Just figure out what works good for you but I would start around 2500 to 3000. Let us know how you do.

Yep I was going to say 3-4k rpm to start.... the first couple of times you just need to leave like your leaving from a stop sign. the one thing to remember is the track you are not going to get any tire spin at all.
