switches

Thanks guys for the info/advice on the manual fan switch- I installed one tonight and it works great. Photos here http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/photos/misc/

Also I ended up moving the Muzzys airshifter toggle switch bracket down to the throttle body boot bolt on the left side of the bike because the airshifter toggle has broken twice when mounted on the handlebar; hopefully this position will work out better.

I bought a set of 2002 wheels with new d208s mounted for a reasonable price here are some pics http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/photos/wheels/ and I trimmed those annoying lower fairings in the back (been meaning to do that for over a year) they turned out decent and its a lot easier to raise/lower the bike now not to mention less scraping when slammed.. http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/photos/fairings/

As long as you are taking a Dremel to yr fairing, I suggest that you cut it around the clutch cover if you are abusing yr clutch like I do.

I timed it last time I removed the clutch plates: 3 min 30 sec from grabbing the socket driver to having the plates on the bench...

I used a hacksaw to cut the major pieces, the draw a line with a marker where you want it finely cut, and took it to the bench grinder, it cut everything away perfectly and quickly.
